Create this bead embroidered statement necklace featuring a mermaid cabochon that is enhanced with pearls, accent crystals, findings, drops, and various accent seed beads. You will use bead embroidery techniques and stitches, including the back, brick, and peyote stitches, and embellishment techniques. The necklace is created in several stages and connected separately to allow for custom sizing and shaping. Goals for this class include getting a good start on all elements of the project and having a good understanding on how to complete this piece at home by the end of class.
