To Any Prospective Member:
All you need to join the Shreveport Rose Stitchery Guild is an
interest in needlework. Remember, we all were beginners at one time. You may
attend twice as a visitor without being a dues-paying member, and we welcome
you!
We offer programs, lectures, stitch-ins, mini workshops, longer workshops
with nationally known teachers, individual or group correspondence courses
through national, community outreach projects, and wonderful fellowship with
other stitchers.
We invite you to become a part of our guild.

Meeting Information
All meeting locations are handicap accessible.
Meetings are held the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of each month, 9:30 AM, First
United Methodist Church of Shreveport, Room 210, Education Building, Head of
Texas Street (special events, like the spring picnic, the Christmas party,
etc., are held at other locations to be announced each year)
Needlepoint Focus Group
Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month at Cedar Grove Library on Line Ave., Shreveport.
Stitch-Ins
(3rd Wednesdays [see above]).
Special Interest Groups
We offer "New Kid on the Block" classes regularly and as requested by anyone
needing assistance.
Membership
Membership includes monthly educational meetings, a six newsletters per year, and
a subscription to the EGA magazine, Needle Arts.
Membership is open to all persons without regard to race, color, creed, or
stitching proficiency, upon application and payment of $45.00 annual dues.
Plural dues are $11.00. (Members from other EGA chapters out of the SCR are
$15.00).
